Shipping policy
The Handbag Bug currently ships to New Zealand & Australia Only.
Orders are processed Monday-Friday (excluding public holidays) and will be despatched as quickly as possible.
Pre-Order items:
All orders that include pre-order items will be sent when the pre-order item arrives at The Handbag Bug.
If you wish to have your non-preorder items within standard shipping timeframes - please place them in a separate order.
NZ Shipping Rates:
All items are shipped with tracking details and require a signature.
Flat rate NZ shipping of $10 for orders under $120.
Free NZ Shipping for orders $120 and above.
After Shipping notification has been sent, your order will typically be delivered within the following timeframes:
North Island Deliveries - please allow 1-3 business days.
South Island Deliveries - please allow 2-4 business days.
Rural Deliveries - please allow 1-2 business days extra.
Australia Shipping Rates:
Shipping from NZ to Australia is unfortunately very expensive for small businesses like The Handbag Bug, so we offer a few of different options for our customers:
1. Flat Rate shipping of AUD $15 - Courier Shipping - Tracked with Authority to Leave. Fully tracked, the courier will attempt to get a signature upon delivery, but are authorised to leave the package if no one is home to sign for it.
2. Flat Rate shipping of AUD $30 - Courier Shipping - Tracked, Signature Required. Fully tracked with signature required at time of delivery.
3. Free AUS Shipping for orders AUD $250 and above. Tracked with Authority to Leave. Fully tracked, the courier will attempt to get a signature upon delivery, but are authorised to leave the package if no one is home to sign for it.
After Shipping notification has been sent, your order will typically be delivered within 3-8 business days.
Please be aware that the customer is responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or customs fees that may apply. These charges differ by country, so we recommend reaching out to your local customs office for further details on import costs. These fees are not included at checkout.
Shipping rates change from time to time and The Handbag Bug reserves the right to change shipping rates as necessary.
