Damaged or Faulty Goods?
If, by some rare chance, your goods are damaged, just contact us via email (support@thehandbagbug.com) within 48 hours of receiving your package and we’ll provide a remedy.
If, your goods are faulty we’ll meet our obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a remedy. Again, contact us via email at support@thehandbagbug.com as soon as you are aware of the fault.
We'll do our best to swap the product out, and if we're out of stock, we'll keep you in the loop on when you can expect your replacements or we may offer a refund.
Along with any replacements we will send a return courier bag to return the damaged/faulty item. The damaged/faulty item must be returned in unused condition and in its original packaging within 7 days of receiving the returns bag.
Change of heart?
No worries!
We have a 14 day returns policy where we will refund the product purchase price (excluding original shipping costs).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Please contact us at support@thehandbagbug.com within 14 days of the purchase date and we will start the returns process.
Please note that you will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the item and that the original shipping costs are non-refundable. The Handbag Bug will not be held responsible for any lost packages so we recommend adding tracking to your return items.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at support@thehandbagbug.com.
Please note, we do not accept returns for clearance or final sale items.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
